Located in the heart of Amsterdam, SECRET GARDEN is more than a restaurant, it is an experience.

After what already felt like a lavish launch campaign, we pulled out all the stops for the second Secret Garden shoot. This time our mission was to create unique and stylish images and videos to serve as content for online advertising for both Secret Garden and the luxury champagne brand Christoffe. We wanted to make sure both brands were represented in a way that was surprising, yet fitted their identity.

This time, our best needed to be even better. With a two-day production and weeks of preparation, we were admittedly a bit overwhelmed. It felt like we were “bringing a bazooka to a knife fight.” We have since then come to terms with the fact that we tend to go a bit overboard, but that’s just because we love our work so much.

We love chaos

Inspired by the stunning, extravagant Gucci campaigns, Christoffe’s champagne flowed freely—and spectacularly. The shoot was fun, messy, and dynamic! We hope this energy is palpable in the content.

we get it done

At NITRO we are driven by our ambition to make great content, and we will go above and beyond to make sure the end result matches our clients – and our – expectations. Often that means that we have multiple jobs during a shoot. In this case, we were responsible for the concept, creative direction, casting, styling, and, of course, production. What does this look like? Running around with dresses, call sheets, and sandwiches while approving shots. As we said; we love chaos.

casting

To make sure we would be able to create the party vibes that we were going for, we spent a good amount of time getting the right cast together. We knew we wanted Mila and Erin back—the last shoot with them had been an absolute dream—but this time, we aimed for a truly eclectic mix. We wanted a group that looked like a fun, diverse circle of friends, representing a range of ages and styles. After reaching out to modeling agencies, casting agencies, and eventually, everybody we knew, we found the perfect group. Each and every one of them was perfect on the day of the shoot, which was incredible as at least half the cast had no real experience with modeling or acting

“ I have so much fun writing storylines and assembling moods for our clients. I am a maximalist in every way so when I start visualizing, there really are no limits. ”
